COMMENTS: Alberto Lobos Born in Chile, lived in Chile, Central America & Spain. Lobos spent most of his life traveling throughout Central and South America creating landscapes and Spanish influenced villages and mountain scenes. Maestro Fernando Álvarez de Sotomayor(1875-1960), a Spaniard imported to Chile by its government to lead the program at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Chile mentored Lobos and his brothers.
