Oil on Canvas Painting Signed H Bach and dated 1922 lower left. Painted after Anselm Geuerbach's "Mary With Child". Stamp on canvas verso reads "kopie nach der gemaaldegalen zu dresden which translates to "copy after the Dresden Painting Collection". Given this painting was painted in 1922 when the reference to the original painting in the Dresden museum was given, it is uncertain that the painting remained in tact there after World War II.
