C. Trucksess, both a painter and a teacher, was born in Brownsburg, Indiana on August 16, 1895. He was a pupil of both E C Taylor, Eugene Savage and William Forsyth. Trucksess was a member of the Boulder Art Guild; the Prospectors; and, Delta Phi Delta. His awards include : Second prize for pastel, Indiana State Fair, 1922; Honorable Mention, Denver Art Museum, 1933. Work: "Woman and Cows" Jefferson School, La Fayette, Ind.'
