Comments: Edward Hopkinson Jr. (1885 - 1966) was a direct descendent of Francis Hopkinson (1737 - 1790), Philadelphia, Signer of the Declaration of Indepependence. This portrait painting along with that of Edward Hopkinson Sr (see AW805) descended through the Hopkinson family before they were auctioned off in 2020.
