19th Century English Barometer by W. Loof Jr., Tunbridge Wells. Purfled mahogany case with brass fittings; accented with small round convex bolection framed mirror. Level to the bottom marked with 'W. LOOF JUNR. / TUNBRIDGE WELLS' (Listed Active 1882-1886). Circa 1880. {Approximate dimensions: 37 1/4 high x 10 1/8 inches wide.}. Condition: Some cracks to the vase, minor veneer repair. Loss to moulding around the thermometer means the glass covering comes loose. Repair to bolection around the mirror. Not tested.
