COMMENTS: Listed artist George Washington Miller (born 1919 Atlantic City, NJ; died 1997). Known for easel and mural painting and teaching. After serving in the Army during WWII Miller studied art at the Otis Art Institute of Los Angles, California. Miller studied and spent time traveling across the United States and painting with many artists including portrait artist Robert Brackman.Taught at his own Miller School of Art. Millers murals and paintings are displayed in many private and public buildings in the Atlantic City area.
