COMMENTS: Ulysses Floyd Rible - Ulysses Floyd Rible was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 22, 1904. Rible moved to San Luis Obispo in 1922. After graduating from Carnegie Institute, he became a well-known architect in Los Angeles who helped design the City Hall, Federal Building, and Griffith Park Observatory. He painted landscapes as a hobby. He died in San Diego, CA on January 22, 1982. This painting comes in a period frame, likely original.
