A group of twelve folio volumes L' Universe et Le Monde, 19th and 20th century
lot consists of: 12 custom bound volumes of the prominent news periodical L' Universe and L'Universe et Le Monde for the years 1876, 1886, 1887, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895, 1904. Published in Paris, each volume here consists of 6 months bound in 1/2 vellum over marbled boards, with gilt stamped red title labels to spines. Massive folios. As this is 19th century newsprint stock there is considerable interior age-toning present, however all volumes remain in very good condition.
